Grocery/Storeroom Manager The Grocery Manager oversees various aspects of the grocery department, ensuring customer satisfaction, efficient stock management/on-shelf delivery, and adherence to safety standards. Here are the key responsibilities: Customer Service and Solutions: Provide superior customer service by ensuring that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations and demands. Execute company programs to enhance store profitability and customer satisfaction, adhering to safety, labeling, health, and weights and measures standards. Store Operations: Responsible for overall grocery department and storeroom operations, including your team throughout the store. Supervise storing, stocking, and merchandising of all grocery products. People Management: Monitor your team's performance (as a team and individually). Maintain confidentiality regarding associates, store sales, and company information. Staff Management: Train, schedule, coach, and conduct performance reviews for the Grocery Department/Storeroom team members. Roster management. Qualifications: Experience in FMCG and in managing a sizeable team is preferred. SAP knowledge would also be an advantage. Familiarity with grocery department products and the ability to offer solutions that exceed customer expectations. Experience in maintaining cleanliness, checks and scanning, and loss prevention procedures.
