An exciting management opportunity has just become available at New World Feilding. We are seeking a Grocery Manager to lead our Grocery team and enhance our Grocery department for our valued customers.
It is a full-time, permanent position.
The Grocery Manager's role consists of, but is not limited to, assisting to help maximize sales while managing expenses, stock levels, out of stocks, wastage, creating/maintaining rosters, ensuring all elements of health and safety and food safety are adhered to, training team members, and managing the team so that our customers receive an outstanding shopping experience.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
Experience in supermarket management, extensive grocery experience, or other managerial experience.
Experience supervising and leading people.
Self-motivated individual with a great work ethic.
Organized with the ability to plan well and maintain organizational structures and procedures.
Able to work within the parameters of a Food Safety Program.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while placing emphasis on Health and Safety policies and procedures.
You'll be working alongside your team each day, so need to be physically fit and able to fulfill the requirements of the role.

What are we looking for:
An ability to listen, advise, and come up with customer-driven solutions.
Leadership capability you can demonstrate, with 40+ people in the grocery team it's not always easy.
The ability to self-motivate and manage alongside the ability to balance priorities.
Understand the commercial side of a retail business.
