Job Title: Graphic Designer Number of Vacancies: 1 Salary: $29.66 - $32.00 an hour Job Type: Full-time Design and create art proofs for a variety of products, ensuring that they meet client specifications and in-house job requirements.
Develop original artwork for clients, distinguishing between creative design work and art proofs for physical products.
Assist in ensuring clients understand TPL's (The Promo Lab Limited) requirements and expectations, e.g.
company standard delivery times.
Prepare and submit quotes, proposals within company timeframe standards.
Client liaison at the onset of the job in regards to client artwork, product proofs, and delivery times.
Coordinate with printers and brander suppliers to ensure accurate production of designs, including colour matching and placement of artwork.
Creating new jobs, with customer codes, contact person, order date, due date, items with cost for both client and supplier, plus all branding requirements, PMS colours, position and sizing, and any alternative delivery address details etc.
Enter new customers into the operating system in order to load new customers' jobs.
Assist in the design and production of promotional materials such as flyers, scratch cards, and banners for The Promo Lab.
Manage the entire design process from concept to delivery, ensuring all elements are on-brand and meet the client's expectations.
Support the team with non-design related tasks, such as accounting assistance, product ordering, and supplier coordination when necessary.
Client & supplier liaison to ensure deadlines are met Checking workmanship and providing quality presentation for dispatched product to client, which includes the packaging of finished product(s) Ensure accurate billing/invoicing of sales Routine correspondence as required with suppliers & clients Arranging & managing couriers & freight on completed jobs.
Negotiation with suppliers regarding job errors etc.
if & when required Client liaison (post sales) as per instructions from the sales person Pick, pack and dispatch of orders and sample or sample returns Hand write cards and wrap gifts for prospecting or Christmas gifts for clients Ensure industry knowledge is maintained and up to date – this is achieved by attending key industry events, reading industry material and continuing relationships with our key suppliers as well as building and obtaining new relationships with viable new suppliers.
Qualification: Bachelor 's qualification or above, specification in design required.
Work experience NOT required.
Should be fit and hardworking.
At least 30 Hours per week.
Based in Auckland.
