As the in-house designer here at JUCY Group, you will work across both our brands – JUCY Rentals, our iconic green and purple campervans, and Star RV, our new premium motorhomes – across New Zealand and Australia.
We move fast here, so you'll need the ability to multitask and priority-shift in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Reporting to the Head of Brand and Marketing, this role offers a chance to advance your design skills with ownership over key areas.
You'll collaborate closely with our dynamic Brand and Marketing team on campaigns aimed at our adventurous customer base.
You'll also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure your work is delivered on time and to brief.
But it's not all just briefs and campaigns!
You'll have the opportunity to be creative within the role and play to your strengths – if you're keen to flex your video editing skills, we've got plenty of work there.

What your day could look like Reviewing design briefs that have come into the JUCY Design Studio, meeting with stakeholders to understand their expectations, and working to deadlines.
Creating impactful assets that elevate JUCY and Star RV's evolving brands, whether that's branch comms, digital ads, or social media content.
Developing assets for events, web, social media, print and digital ads and anything else that needs your help to visually communicate our brands in a meaningful way.
Creating awesome presentations and templates in Canva that can be easily updated by others in the team.
Collaborating seamlessly with diverse teams across JUCY Group, actively seeking out feedback and using this to shape and refine your design ideas.
Diving deep into the world of travel and road trips, getting into the headspace of our customers with a passion for adventure.
Thinking about fun ways we can improve our brand presence across our digital channels, website, our physical branches, or even making our vehicles more awesome and iconic on the road.
What you will have 3-4 years relevant design experience.
Travel industry experience would be advantageous, but any B2C brand will help!
Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Proficient in website design, print, advertisements, and multimedia design.
Creative problem-solver who can iterate quickly from initial concepts through to beautiful high-fidelity designs.
Experience working within Marketing, or designing for marketing teams is a great plus.
Skills or a keenness to learn photography or videography, video editing or motion graphics would be a massive bonus.
Someone who is a strategic thinker but also loves execution.
A self-starter, who is eager to get stuck in, internally motivated and cares deeply about doing great work.
You also must be willing to use Canva – we know designers don't love this tool, but we see it as a way to improve efficiency and processes.
You'll be the creative director of the brand, and using Canva means you can set the creative direction and leave someone else to do all the boring copy updates – giving you more time for creativity!
