Job Title: Graduate Territory Manager - CentralTravel Required? : Travel - 25% of timeDate: Jul 10, 2024HybridNo Relocation Assistance Offered# 160294 - Wellington, North Island, New ZealandPosition Description: We are seeking a Graduate Territory Manager who will be responsible for achievement of sales targets in their region through excellence in execution at the point of sale. They must develop and support the partnership between CP and the customer(s) at the store and regional level by cultivating contacts and negotiation. They provide feedback on the in-store environment which allows rapid revision of Commercial strategies.Key Responsibilities:Business Development & MonitoringBuild store specific account plans to find opportunities to drive incremental Net Sales through tracking of KPI's and analysis of:Micro territory reportsCategory ranking reportsPriority ranking reportsProviding shopper and consumer insight to support fact based decision makingManagement of trade spend to drive incremental Net SalesManagement of promotion efficiency to drive incremental Net SalesPromotional evaluation to improve return on investmentPresentation of New ProductsBuilding and managing relationships with key players at the store and/or regional levelConduct regular account performance reviews to review the business, and present opportunities to improve and grow that businessConducting negotiations as necessary (listings, planograms, displays, promotion execution etc) at store levelCoordinating special promotion events in store-value added promotions, pallet ready displays etc…Effective supply chain management:Ensuring optimum stock levels on shelfEnsuring optimum safety stock levels in storeProvide analytical support to buyers to ensure stock coverage for key promotionsTimely and effective communication of OOS to storesProvide feedback to KAM/Operations Manager on customer strategy changes that affect 5P executionReview store promotion performance to provide fact based challenges to promotional strategy where appropriateProviding consistent and accurate collection of data to allow monitoring of 5P performance vs. targetWorking with the Manager to review Merchandiser itineraries (location, frequency, duration vs. plan) and roles to ensure efficient deployment of limited resource according to customer and business needsSupervising competitive activity at store level, recording and consolidating key activities, and identifying competitive standard methodologies and discussing with BDM so that they can proactively respond with strategic/tactical refinementsWorking with logistics to plan, analyze, and forecast customer needs, to follow up on orders to ensure on time and complete delivery, and to prioritize customer requirements when product is unavailableAdministration:Utilizing communication tools optimally – UMPCChecking invoices & credits are valid and accurate before sending for processingAttend weekly WIPs with Key Account Managers - sharing and collecting market informationCoordinating Merchandiser call cycles to provide:Appropriate resource to support key stores and ad hoc promotion displaysMonitoring of hours worked in target stores within budgetWeekly sign off of Merchandiser hoursMaintain an updated Account Profile of key customer detailsManual lifting is a requirement of the roleIn-Store ComplianceMonitoring and checking in store promotion compliance to price, display, position, POS etc…Understanding the strategic business purpose of in-store promotions and activities and ensuring that these activities (e.g., displays, POP, pricing, space/plannogram) are in compliance with plans and are optimally implementedResolving and/or helping to resolve operational issues at store e.g. credit disputesAppropriate FMCG experienceAppropriate Tertiary qualification #J-18808-Ljbffr
