We are seeking a motivated and driven Graduate Project Engineer - Construction to join our team.

Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include strategically planning and implementing landfill and site development projects, coordinating audits, airspace reports, and construction modelling for landfill and transfer stations, preparing Whole-of-Life estimates and infrastructure plans, managing capital expenditure applications and monitoring budgets, developing pre-construction estimates, pricing, and costed schedules of quantities, preparing contract documentation, technical reports, timelines, drawings, and specifications, overseeing project progress to ensure safety, quality, and budget compliance, liaising with regulatory bodies to manage environmental compliance, providing as-built records and maintenance manuals upon project completion, estimating landfill provision and closure costs for budgeting purposes, conducting project modelling and analysis for landfill and transfer station projects, and managing civil works and landfill rehabilitation projects, including cell and cap design.
Qualifications • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Passion for construction and a desire to learn and grow in the industry.
• Motivated, curious, and innovative with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Must be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Key Responsibilities During your graduate programme, you will: • Assist in the planning, implementation, and delivery of landfill and site development projects.
• Help coordinate audits, airspace reports, and construction modelling.
• Contribute to the preparation of Whole-of-Life estimates, budgets, and infrastructure plans.
• Support pre-construction estimates, pricing, and costed schedules of quantities.
• Assist in the preparation of contract documentation, technical reports, timelines, and specifications.
• Work with the project team to monitor progress and ensure safety, quality, and budget compliance.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies to assist in environmental compliance management.
• Gain exposure to civil works, landfill rehabilitation, and site development projects.
