Graduate/Junior Solicitor - Civil Litigation
MWIS Lawyers has proudly served the people of Northland, offering a comprehensive array of legal services spanning property, employment, family, commercial law, trusts and estates, Maori land, and civil litigation.
We are currently looking for a recent graduate or junior Solicitor to join our growing Civil Litigation team.
As a Solicitor with us, you will have the opportunity to manage your own files while providing support to senior leaders and fellow team members within our Civil Litigation team.
You will be responsible for the efficient and professional execution of matters and required to prepare necessary documents, proactively manage risks as they arise, and see matters through to completion.
The role requires someone who can build strong relationships with clients and display a high level of client care.
MWIS is a fast-paced, busy legal environment, with a family-style feeling in our culture.
For candidates looking to develop further and progress their career, there is access to mentoring and supervision from our highly experienced Directors and Senior Solicitors.
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following:

Be a recent graduate or junior with a particular interest in all areas of Civil, including but not limited to contract, employment, family, and property law.
The agility and resilience to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
Excellent digital, verbal, and written communication skills, tailored to diverse audiences.
Values of honesty, transparency, and empathy.
LLB and Practicing certificate required.
