Graduate Accountant

We are located in beautiful New Plymouth (often sunniest region in NZ!).  An exciting opportunity awaits for a recent graduate to begin their accounting career within a market-leading manufacturing company in New Plymouth. This is a permanent position with standard working hours being Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm each week. McKechnie will provide a friendly working environment with a supportive finance team, advancement opportunities and are ATO approved. In return you will quickly become an integral member of the team as you are trained working on management accounting, financial reporting and other financial aspects of the business. To be considered you must be passionate about developing a career in this sector, have relevant qualifications, proficient excel skills and have both excellent written and verbal communication skills. Of most importance for this role, we're looking for someone with the right attitude to learn and be a real team member. A willingness to roll your sleeves up and assist others where necessary.
