Great opportunity for a highly experienced Grader Operator to join our Civil Construction team in Auckland and work on various civil infrastructure and roading projects from the Bombay Hills to Northland.

About the role
Operate CAT 140M (or similar) and various items of plant when required
Able to grade 7,000 - 10,000m2 finished per day to the millimeter precise
General labouring work to support the team when required
Using machinery in accordance with manufacturers' instructions, with due care and attention in a safe manner
Weekly mechanical pre-start inspections of plant and machinery (greasing, cleaning, and maintenance)
Carry out a variety of civil engineering tasks
Assess hazards and recommend and initiate solutions
This is a permanent full-time job ($40-50 per hour based on skills and experience, and guaranteed min 40 hours per week).
About you
Proven experience as a Grader Operator in Civil infrastructure (roads, ports, and airports)
Willingness to muck in and put in a hard day's work
A desire to keep yourself and others safe in the workplace
SiteSafe or Construct Safe certificate (or ability to obtain it)
You're passionate about what you do and genuinely take pride in a job well done.
This is a physical role, so you need to be fit and well to carry out your duties.
We are contracted to work all over the region, so you will need to be open to travel within the region.
