The Role Millbrook Resort has an iconic and award winning 36-hole champion golf course, which is renowned as world-class in terms of design, beauty and is well-known for co-hosting the NZ Open.
The role involves ensuring guests and members are warmly greeted and expectations are met or exceeded along with providing support to management in the day-to-day operations of the golf shop, adding value to all aspects of Millbrook golf operations.
We focus on being a part of a collaborative team, delivering a high-end guest experience.
We are also looking for someone with a passion for retail who can optimise sales opportunities in our Pro shop.
Success Profile Good knowledge of the game of golf Excellent communication skills, coupled with a 'can do' attitude Ability to work on own initiative, as well as work as an effective team player Ability to work weekends and public holidays Drivers Licence advantageous Q&A with Tom Buttenshaw, Golf Operations Manager What is your leadership style?
I would like to say that I have a democratic approach to leadership.
Involving my team as much as possible to participate in decision making, creating a smooth and open team dynamic.
