Our Client is looking for a Golang Back End Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in Golang and other web development technologies.

The company is seeking a Back End Engineer - Golang with relevant experience to join the development team in Sydney.
Experience / SkillsBS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.Minimum 3+ years experience working with at least one modern Back End Development using Golang.Experience building REST APIs with Golang and/or NodeJS.Experience developing microservice infrastructure is ideal.Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, developing large software systems, and/or security software development.Previous 'start-up' or 'scale-up' experience is favorable.Job Duties and ExpectationsTake operational responsibility for the services and code base that you will develop.3 to 5 years' experience in software development.Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend coding best practices.Familiarity with Docker, Postman, GitLab, and AWS is favorable.You are a lifelong learner, self-taught, and continuously learning.You are interested in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise.You are experienced working with modern infrastructure and tools.You are comfortable running your software in Linux environments.You know and care about sound engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensive programming, and automated testing.You're familiar with designing and building distributed and scalable systems.An abundance of ambition and motivation to grow the company and compete with the big players in the industry.
