As a Glove and Barrier Line Mechanic with Northpower, you will be supporting the construction, maintenance, upgrade, and repair of the electrical lines to customers and networks. You will have great verbal and written communication skills, a willingness to be part of a team with a 'can do' attitude.You will need to demonstrate the following:A strong commitment to health and safety.NZ Drivers licence - Class 2 is desirable.National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Line Mechanic Distribution) (Level 4) required.National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Line Mechanic Distribution Live Work Glove and Barrier up to 33kV) (Level 5) required.Prior industry experience/ Glove and Barrier work.Experience working on lines up to 33kv.About usNorthpower is an electricity and fibre network provider for Whangarei and Kaipara, with more than 60,000 connected customers.
