This role requires the candidate to permanently relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer specialized in coating and welding. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of rotating and stationary equipment, contributing significantly to our advanced energy company's operations. Responsibilities: Provide expert technical support in coating and welding, including testing and issuing related technical reports. Offer technical consultations to Shops Operating Repair Units and Contractor Shops. Support field installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, and modify existing equipment, focusing on cost reductions and process improvements. Prepare design engineering packages for rotating equipment. Conduct technical investigations for shop repair return jobs, identifying root causes and corrective actions. Introduce and apply the latest technology in coating and welding methodologies. Develop and revise the department's technical procedures and standards. Mentor and share knowledge with junior engineers, quality inspectors, and technicians. Provide technical input for purchasing specifications and evaluate technical proposals. Collaborate with department engineers, Consulting Services Department (CSD), other company departments, and manufacturers. Coordinate with In-House Repair Units, Quality Assurance units, In-Kingdom Contractors, and vendors for shop repair work scopes. Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Welding Engineering. At least 15 years of hands-on experience in thermal coating and welding. Proven experience in thermal coating, laser cladding, and welding. Experience with rotating equipment in an original equipment manufacturing facility or a certified repairing facility. Welding certification from AWS or an equivalent organization.
