Global Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Global Business Development Manager to join our organization. You will work as part of an enthusiastic, dynamic, and customer-focused driven team.
The Global Business Development Manager within Mastaplex is responsible for driving growth and expansion of Mastatest by identifying and leveraging business opportunities across international markets. This role involves building strategic partnerships, overseeing market entry strategies, and ensuring that the company's products and services meet the needs of veterinarians, livestock producers, and other stakeholders in the animal health and dairy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to expand the company's presence in global markets, with a focus on diagnostics, antibiotic sensitivity testing and data services for large animals in particular dairy cows.
Set clear revenue goals and market-entry objectives in alignment with the company's overall business strategy.

Client & Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as distributors but also with veterinarians, livestock producers, regulatory authorities (if needed), and animal health (biopharma, diagnostic and data) organizations.
Manage partnerships with distributors, pharmaceutical & diagnostic companies and research institutions to enhance market penetration and product availability.
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build the company's reputation in the animal health industry.

Identify opportunities for sales growth through geographic expansion, new product launches, and collaboration with local teams.
Work closely with regional sales teams to support and guide sales initiatives in global markets.
Monitor performance against targets and adjust strategies to maximize revenue in specific regions or sectors.
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify global trends, emerging markets, and customer needs in the animal health sector.
Analyze the competitive landscape, emerging regulatory requirements, and market dynamics across different regions to identify opportunities and risks.
Stay updated on animal health innovations, diagnostics, and veterinary services.

Reporting & Metrics: Provide regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market conditions to CEO.
Use data and metrics to evaluate the success of business initiatives and refine strategies as needed.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Veterinary Science, Animal Health, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the animal health sector preferably a strong track record in dairy (bovine mastitis).
Skills: Strong knowledge of animal health products and services, including pharmaceuticals, vaccines, diagnostics, and veterinary services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strategic thinking with the ability to adapt to diverse markets and cultural environments.
Project management and financial analysis skills to drive growth initiatives.

Travel: Required international travel to meet clients, partners, and distributors, and to oversee global expansion efforts.
