Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: Guaranteed at least 30 hours
The Company: We are seeking a skilled Glazier/Machine Operator with experience in glass processing, installation, and handling machinery. This role involves the operation of various glass processing machines, ensuring quality control, installing glass in various settings, and following strict health and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full range of glass handling, processing, and installation techniques.
Key Responsibilities: Setting and operating a range of glass production machineryInspecting the quality and making necessary changes to machine parametersProgramming glass machines and using manual equipment when necessaryAccurate measuring and marking glass using precision instruments and supplied templatesCutting glass according to specifications using water jet/ CNC and I-CAM softwareInstalling glass to framesOperation of suction lifterTo be successful in this role, you will have: At least 3 years relevant work experience in a similar roleStrong attention to detail with excellent technical skills.Must be able to lift heavy itemsAbility to work independently with great time management.Desire to grow within the companyMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.Have clean police report with no charges pending.If you're looking for a role that offers variety, the chance to work on interesting projects, and the opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you!
