About the Role: As an Aluminium Fabricator/Installer/Glazier, your role is essential in the construction industry.
You will be responsible for fabricating and installing aluminium frames, as well as the precision cutting, measuring, fitting, and installation of glass in a variety of construction projects.
We're looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: Crafting and expertly fitting aluminium frames for windows.
Precise measurement and marking of glass for accurate cutting.
Thorough inspection to identify defects in glass products.
Skilful installation of glass in windows, curtain walls, interior walls, ceilings, and other construction project requirements.
Ensuring glass finishing is meticulous, safe, and edges are smooth.
Proficiency in using both manual and power tools to prepare, install, and finish frames, glass, and window structures.
Determining the type and dimensions of glass required for each project.
Skilled installation of glass and mirrors in various locations, including windows, skylights, display cases, interior walls, and ceilings.
Smoothing rough edges with proficiency using belt sanders and smoothing wheels.
Analysing drawings and taking measurements to determine the necessary materials.
Measuring, marking, and cutting plasterboard, then securely positioning and affixing panels to walls, ceilings, and battens.
Applying coats of plaster to structures using trowels, ensuring even thickness and smoothness.
