Job Description
ENGEO is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer with at least three years of experience to join our Wellington office.
About this role:
This position will involve exposure to a wide range of ground engineering projects and challenges involving such aspects as earthworks, foundation and retaining wall design, settlement analysis, assessment of compressible and liquefiable soils, and slope stability.
It includes field and office-based work through all stages of site characterisation, data analysis and reporting, design, and construction monitoring.

Experience and Skills
About you:

Our ideal candidate is someone who is hungry, humble, and smart;
Has a BE (Civil) or ME (Geotechnical);
Has at least two years of geotechnical consulting experience (ideally most of which in New Zealand);
Has excellent project management and interpretative report writing skills;
Is passionate about geology and geotechnical engineering - in all its forms;
Shows a positive 'can do' attitude;
Wants to grow their career, make a difference in the community, and create an impact;
Understands and fosters client relationships;
Will check your ego at the door and work alongside a dynamic team;
Finds innovative and pragmatic ways to deliver excellent outcomes to clients;

Has strong verbal and written communication skills.
