We are looking for someone with the drive and enthusiasm to embrace the future in these exciting and rapidly evolving sectors.RequirementsCandidates should have:A degree in civil engineering preferably with a post graduate qualification in a geotechnical subject.Proven experience of acting as a geotechnical engineer in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment.A capable geotechnical engineer with desk study and ground engineering experience, and proven design ability.Member of an appropriate professional organisation and be at or working towards becoming chartered.Ability to manage projects and control budgets.Excellent interpersonal, technical and digital skills.Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with clients.Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work.A flair for innovation.A valid UK driving licence.A willingness to travel on assignments both within the UK and overseas.What we offer?AtkinsRéalis recognise that there are many well qualified people who are looking to further their career, but who cannot commit to full time employment.
