Geotechnical Business Development / Estimations EngineerAuckland CBD, Auckland, New ZealandCivil/Structural Engineering (Engineering)$90,000 – $110,000 per year (NZD)Due to the expansion of my client's business and an increasing portfolio of projects, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Civil Engineer to join their team. This role, based in Auckland, will report directly to the Regional Manager.Key Responsibilities For This Role IncludeIdentifying and evaluating tender opportunitiesReviewing engineering drawings and tender requestsPreparing detailed geotechnical cost estimates for tenders and project opportunitiesDrafting clear and precise offer letters that address both practical and technical solutionsCommitting to learning and growing within the role, with the goal of eventually managing independent operationsInitially focusing on construct-only solutions, with the potential to expand into design and construct solutions as experience growsBuilding relationships with suppliers and clients to support accurate cost estimationsManaging and improving the Cost Estimations library for greater efficiencyDeveloping a solid understanding of geotechnical solutions, including ground improvement, reinforcement, foundations, and retaining wallsActing as a site engineer on projects as neededTo be successful in this role, you will need:A degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, with a strong interest in geotechnical engineering4-5 years of experience in civil or geotechnical engineering, particularly as a site or project engineerA current network within Auckland is preferredA passion for creating and managing Excel spreadsheetsA demonstrated interest in ground improvement technologies and geotechnical engineeringA keen eye for detail in both estimations and report writingAn interest in advancing to a senior estimator or business development engineer roleNew Zealand citizenship or permanent residencyWhat My Client OffersA competitive base salary ranging from $90K to $110K per annum, plus 11% superannuation and eligibility for an annual bonusA supportive, growth-focused company cultureApply now or contact Rebekka Myles for a confidential discussion.Email: ******
