We are looking for a General Worker to join Tiaki-Wai team based in Gisborne.
Tiaki-Wai's core kaupapa is the flood protection scheme and water flow management that benefits stream quality and survival of many small fish life.
Our key purpose is to move water, following a heavy rain event from ponding on high productive land out to sea through our drainage network.

We're looking for someone with:Current Class 1 full licence with the ability to drive 4x4'sGrow safe licence and chemical spraying experienceExperienced in building and repairing fencesChainsaw modules and operation skillsExperience operating small plant and equipmentGood understanding of site safety and hazard managementFlexibility to perform various daily tasks and grow with the teamExcellent communication with co-workers and managementCreating, Connecting and caring for the community Our people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities.
