General Trade Worker

Job details Salary: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities: Studying drawings and plans, and estimating quantities of materials required. Laying bricks and blocks, spreading mortar between joints, and removing excess mortar. Erecting frameworks, roof frames, roofs, and walls. Laying flooring, carpets, and tiles. Painting and wallpapering surfaces. Applying plaster and cement coatings to walls. Building and installing fittings. Making and installing glass products. Installing plumbing and drainage systems, guttering, and other rainwater systems. Installing gas appliances and air-conditioning piping and ducting. Benefits: Relocation assistance. Travel reimbursement. Schedule: 8 hour shift. Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay. COVID-19 considerations: All staff and customers are required to wear a mask, common surfaces are sanitized regularly, and vaccination requirements are in place.

Ability to commute/relocate: Auckland City, Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).

Experience: 2 years (Required).

License/Certification: Full Drivers License (Preferred).
