General Practitioner – Invercargill, New Zealand

Invercargill Medical Centre is located close to the heart of Invercargill, South City Medical is 5 minutes drive away by car. Invercargill is in the Southland region of New Zealand. The large team at Invercargill Medical Centre (IMC) provides care for over 13,500 patients, while our smaller team at South City Medical provides care for 3,400 patients. Our IMC team comprises doctors, nurse practitioners, a nurse prescriber, nurses, health care assistants, accounts manager, admin and reception teams, and a business manager who works across both locations. The team at South City has doctors, nurses, and an admin and reception team. Both our teams are on our practice websites.
About You
You will ideally be an experienced GP with a passion for delivering equitable, high-quality healthcare to a diverse range of patients. You will enjoy working within a collaborative team, engaging in clinical governance, and supporting practice growth and development.
About the Role
We offer competitive per session remuneration with flexibility around days and hours worked, because life is too short not to enjoy everything that our region has to offer! We are flexible around which of our Invercargill practices you would prefer or if you would like to combine a bit of both! Our remuneration package offers financial assistance with annual expenses such as your practicing certificate, medical protection, and CME. Contributions towards relocation expenses may be considered.
