General Practitioner

Our client is a family health General Practice based in Taranaki and they are seeking a qualified General Practitioner (GP) to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities: Provide urgent medical services, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals.Offer minor surgery, psychological interventions, family planning, sexual health services, and health promotion.Manage chronic conditions and coordinate rehabilitation.Ensure accurate data entry in Patient Management Systems (e.g., Indici) and support PHO enrollment.Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and health education.Foster strong relationships with the team, patients, and community providers.Requirements: Registered GP or in training (GP Fellowship preferred).12 months of GP experience (preferred in NZ health/social services).Familiarity with electronic patient management systems.Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.Commitment to cultural development and understanding Maori health needs.If this sounds like the right opportunity for you then please Apply Now to be considered.
