It is one of two general practices owned and operated by Tui Ora, with the other located in New Plymouth, a short 20-minute drive away.Work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare providers including fellow GPs, nurses, pharmacists, paramedics, administrators and kaihapai. You will provide clinical leadership to the team and be supported by our Clinical Director, Clinical Nurse Lead and Business Manager.Kia ekena a angitu | To promote success in this role, you will have* Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligible to apply for registration* Fellowship of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners, or training towards FRNZCGP* An international postgraduate medical qualification in general practice* Preferably leadership experience within General Practice* Current NZ practicing certificate* A good knowledge of general practice care in Aotearoa (New Zealand) (desirable)* Experience in applying tikanga Maori as it applies in the role (desirable).* A full, clean NZ Driver Licence or equivalentThis is a real opportunity for you to action meaningful change for your clients/patients and the communities you are working with.
