Are you ready to make an immediate impact on healthcare in Aotearoa? ProCare has launched the Comprehensive Primary Care Team (CPCT)- a pioneering initiative designed to improve health equity and expand access to essential services in our communities.
We're seeking a General Practice Pharmacist for a fixed-term role through to June 2025 in our integrated health clinic in Papakura. This is a 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week) position, and we're looking for someone to hit the ground running and make a real difference from day one!

Your Role: As our Practice Pharmacist, you'll play a crucial role in:
Managing medications and providing expert advice to ensure safe, effective treatment.Leading educational sessions on pain management and safe medication use for patients.Collaborating with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and drive quality improvements in care.What We Need: A current APC with no restrictions.Post-graduate studies in clinical pharmacy or pharmacist prescribing (or enrollment).At least 2 years of experience as a registered pharmacist (primary or secondary care preferred).A passion for improving healthcare equity and experience working with diverse communities.Strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its implications in primary care.Why ProCare?
