We take pride in all our services we provide and aim to improve, promote and protect health in our region.The Lakes region is a fantastic place to live and play, with many spots to explore from geothermal wonderlands to stunning lakes in summer, skiing in winter down the road by Taupo, to the beach less than an hour away, and the infamous redwoods for grounding walks and fun mountain bike trails.Roles available involve general medicine in-patient hospital-based care, with a mix of out-patient care. We have multiple positions available, with a subspecialty interest in the following areas:RespiratoryCardiologyPalliative careEndocrinology and diabetesHealthcare of the elderlyFoeto-Maternal MedicineOncologyHaematologyRenal medicineWe are flexible and are happy to accommodate whether you wish to be full time or part time.Minimum Requirements:To be suitable for this position applicants must:Provide an up-to-date CV, Cover Letter, and 3 written references on an RP6 form.Have experience in the acute hospital setting.Have a focus on equitable services and health outcomes.Actively participate in the education and training of undergraduate and postgraduate medical and nursing staff.Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance for successful long-term and permanent appointments.
