The Opportunity
Work in structured teams supported by registrars and consultants. Palmerston North Hospital offers the following opportunities in general medicine and medical subspecialty runs. Ability to rotate through the below medical runs:

Cardiology Renal Geriatric Medicine subacute including outpatient clinics Haematology Medical Oncology Radiation Oncology Medical Relief General Medicine (Gen Med, Geriatrics, Neuro) There are also opportunities to do both an ICU and an Emergency Medicine rotation. We actively promote strong candidates into registrar positions. If you are successful in gaining a position, the service will do their best to accommodate your run preferences.

Our ideal candidate will have:

Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand Completed PGY1 or equivalent You can check your eligibility for registration by visiting the Council's website at www.mcnz.org.nz.
