This includes our Equipment, Customer Support, Shell Consumables, Power Products, and Marketing teams.Based in either Christchurch or Auckland, and reporting directly to the CEO, this role is integral in defining the strategic direction for a unified approach to sales with the goal of developing the best way of servicing our customers through our sales channels. Drive growth, enhance market position, and ensure long-term success.We need someone who can negotiate good commercial outcomes for the business from high level key customers and small customers alike. Experience in building strong relationships with key suppliers is also essential.Responsibilities:Management and accountability of the total sales portfolioProviding effective leadership to the sales workforce, in alignment with our purpose and valuesDevelop and refine TDX's long-term national sales strategy to form the basis for effective business planning and budgetingMonitor sales performance metrics, analyse trends, and identify areas for improvementInspire and guide a diverse sales team to achieve both individual and collective successIdentify and pursue opportunities to expand business within major accounts, leveraging cross-divisional resources and expertiseCollaborate internally with key stakeholders to ensure a value-add product to our customersActively contribute to the culture of a high performing and safe working environmentWhat we are looking for:A minimum of 7 years in a senior strategic sales role, with a track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategiesStrong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate high-level objectives into actionable plansExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience in leading large, diverse teamsThis role has EBIT responsibility for three divisions so you will have proven experience with managing a Sales Division P&L, and understanding how to maximise the bottom lineFocus on understanding and addressing customer needs and preferences to drive sales successExperience and commitment to using Salesforce CRM, or similar programmes, to improve sales strategiesCurrent knowledge and experience with utilising the latest data and social media marketing tools to generate resultsExperience in the Construction Equipment market or other sales in industrial or construction markets is preferredIf you're keen to be part of a dynamic and collaborative work environment, we can't wait to see your application by hitting APPLY NOW.As this role is being advertised over the Christmas period, please note our response times might not be as immediate as usual.
