We are looking for a General Manager for our Rotorua based cleaning company.
This is a full-time and permanent position and will consist of managing the day-to-day operations of our business.To be considered for this position, you will have availability for work 7 days a week and be prepared to work some early mornings and late nights.As you will be in a management position, we require you to have at least a qualification at Diploma level or at least three years of relevant experience.You should have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and be able to work independently to reach goals.
You must be able to multitask and complete work within set time frames.
Ideally, you will have knowledge in the running of a service-related company.You will also be expected to perform management tasks such as managing customer relationships and ensuring that there are policies in place to ensure customer satisfaction, negotiating, formulating, drafting, editing, and signing work contracts on behalf of the company, ensuring that KPIs are adhered to, assisting in the growth of clients by increasing contracts, and coordinating with other management or senior staff members to ensure that staff training is conducted appropriately and that our clients are happy with the tasks that we are performing.You will be solely responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of our business.Key Attributes:The desire to grow your knowledge and skills in the management fieldA strong business-oriented focusThe ability to adapt, be flexible, and learn quicklyExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsEnthusiastic about customer service excellence and the contribution you can make to the businessThe ability to work independently and without supervisionYou will need to be flexible and good at negotiations.Ability to use a computer and basic programs like Microsoft Word and Excel is also beneficial.This is a full-time permanent position and the successful applicant will be required to manage the day-to-day business operations, clients of our business, as well as the contracts in our business.We are looking at a minimum pay rate of $29.66 per hour and a maximum pay rate of $35 per hour for this position, and we can guarantee at least 30 hours per week for each position.Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
