Under the leadership of a highly tenured and respected Chief Executive, the General Manager People and Culture will provide mature leadership, and operational and strategic direction across all aspects of human resources, health and safety, project management, technology, and business growth.
Key areas of responsibility include: People and culture leadership focused on the company's vision and goals.
Lead internal culture development.
Lead, identify and mitigate risk for both HR / HSQE, whilst ensuring compliance with legislation and standards in both these areas.
Senior staff development and coaching, equipping leaders for business success.
Staff welfare / wellness.
Project management, planning, and implementation.
Sitting on the Senior Leadership Team, this is a key role within the business, ensuring that their significant growth continues, and future strategies are maximised through strong leadership and people support.
To be a success in this critical role, you are already an authentic people and culture leader whose generalist skills span all aspects of human resources, organisational, and learning and development, who has an appetite to expand their skills and experience across wider operational and strategic aspects of the business.
Minimum requirements: To be considered for this wide-reaching and influential role, you will ideally be relevantly degree qualified, with proven people and culture senior leadership and business partnering skills, a love for people, their careers and personal growth, and bring demonstrable experience spanning the core generalist HR suite of a strong People and Culture Leader.
As this role is based in Whangarei, you will need to be based locally or be prepared to commute.
