In this position, you will be responsible for managing current services, leading transformation, and planning and executing future development. You will report directly to the CEO and will be accountable for ensuring the overall quality of service within Palmerston North, Bay of Plenty, Taranaki and Hawkes Bay. This includes the wellbeing of the people we support, overseeing staff, managing contracts, and meeting financial performance goals. As a member of the senior management team, you will also be expected to contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation and ensure that the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi are upheld across all services.

To be considered for this position, you will need the following qualifications and experience:
Health or management-related tertiary level qualification (minimum of Level 7) e.g. Health Science, Nursing, Psychology, Business Management
At least five years of relevant management experience working in the health and disability or social services sector
Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally
Experience and proven skills in developing and leading cohesive teams
Experience in managing geographically dispersed teams
Experience in change management and implementing innovative and new models of support
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to create effective working relationships
Excellent at interpreting, applying and understanding key financial indicators to make effective business decisions
Proven experience in managing people's performance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Full, current and clean NZ driving licence
Willingness to travel
Business qualification or Postgraduate Diploma in Business/Health Management or similar
Financial management and reporting experience
Demonstrated partnership and networking skills
A network of health and disability sector relationships
