ITM (Independent Timber Merchants Co-operative Ltd)ITM is New Zealand's largest independent building supply networks "making building easier in our communities". The Co-operative includes 96 stores and 26 frame and truss manufacturing sites to support national residential construction companies and local building trades.The GM Marketing role is based in the ITM Support Office located in Albany Auckland, reporting to the CEO, and leading a team of 6 marketing professionals.About the roleThe purpose of the GM Marketing role is to oversee the strategy and execution of ITM's programme of brand, loyalty, campaign and communication activities.Responsible for developing the brand and store marketing strategies leading to the execution of campaign materials, store and customer communications via multiple channels, and reporting of all major promotions, sponsorships, and industry related events.Working as a part of the Executive Team and Board to execute a multi-channel marketing calendar (including customer activation) to drive brand awareness, revenue, customer and shareholder engagement for 96 stores.To actively contribute to and align functional resources to deliver the strategic direction and mitigate identified risks to ITM as determined by the Board and CEO.What you will bringClear understanding of Co-operative organisational structures and their requirements.Experience with the building industry is desirable.Degree in Marketing and Communications or similar.At least 10+ years' experience in marketing, digital, brand management, sponsorship, event, and campaign management.Experience managing projects and budgets is required.At least 5 years' experience in executive people leadership.Solid working knowledge of both B2B and B2C marketing techniques.Confident public speaker to small and large groups of people.How to applyPlease apply online with your CV and application letter outlining relevant skills and experience.
