Being part of the most highly successful privately-owned business in heartland New Zealand Reporting to the CEO of Power Farming New Zealand, the General Manager Machinery will be charged with delivering the next phase of growth.
With a product range that covers all sectors of New Zealand's agricultural industry, this role will be responsible for all factory liaison with suppliers, product planning, sales and marketing strategy, and retail network engagement.
This division is a powerhouse within the business, with deep historical relationships with global brands such as McHale, Kverneland, Maschio, and Fliegl.
Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong international supplier relationships Develop and execute strategic plans Oversee product planning and inventory management Conduct market analysis, pricing, and deliver sales programs Manage supplier brand expectations and drive marketing activities Lead and develop a team of enthusiastic and highly capable product specialists Work closely with aftersales departments to ensure top-tier customer experience About You Hold sound knowledge of both local and international agricultural and machinery industry dynamics and trends Have the ability to manage supplier brand expectations to shape and drive marketing activity Have experience in market analysis, pricing, and delivering sales programs Have a strong understanding of a retail dealer environment and their expectations Able to work closely with the aftersales departments of the business to ensure customer experience is second to none Keen to drive and develop an enthusiastic and highly capable team of product specialists Are a result-focused, people-driven leader If you are up for the challenge, want to work in a dynamic, energetic, and highly driven team, and can demonstrate the above attributes, then we want to hear from you.
