About the Opportunity This is an exciting leadership opportunity to make a tangible impact on the success and growth of TVL.
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for steering the strategic and operational direction of TVL, driving clinical and financial performance while fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.
You will ensure that each of the clinics under your leadership not only meets but exceeds their performance goals, through leadership and a strong focus on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability, maximizing synergies and collaboration between the clinics within TVL.
In this key role, you will: Drive a culture of safety, wellbeing, and exceptional client care, ensuring that our values and standards are upheld at every level.
Lead the development and execution of regional business plans, aligning them with TVL's overarching strategy.
Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement across all of TVL's regions, enhancing service delivery and profitability.
Collaborate closely with Comhla hub managers and regional leaders, ensuring TVL has seamless support operations and effective resource management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams within and across clinics, clients, industry partners, and the local community.
About You We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven leader who is passionate about both animal health and rural communities.
You'll bring a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, strong financial acumen, and a drive to implement operational improvements.
Your ability to inspire and motivate will be critical in fostering an engaged and forward-thinking culture across the business.
You will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, along with leadership experience in veterinary, agricultural, or related industries.
You possess exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to translate strategy into actionable business plans.
Strong financial and business acumen will enable you to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
Your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills allow you to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
A deep understanding of rural New Zealand communities and farming industries is a distinct advantage.
A desire to grow and advance your career in NZ's largest veterinary group.
