You will lead the Mainstreet team, overseeing daily operations, driving business growth, and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:Lead and inspire the Mainstreet team to achieve goals aligned with the Strategic Plan.Manage operations, ensuring adherence to all legal, health & safety, and policy requirements.Oversee the creation and execution of promotional activities and events that enhance the vibrancy of Whanganui's town centre.Foster strong relationships with members, stakeholders, and the local community to support the growth of Mainstreet.Ensure effective financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and invoicing.Regularly report to the Board, including activity updates, financials, and key project progress.Maintain positive relationships with the Whanganui District Council, making submissions as required.Goals:Deliver Mainstreet's Strategic Plan and achieve business promotions and marketing objectives.Ensure smooth daily operations of Mainstreet, including financial, administrative, and visitor experience management.Lead the team to execute events and activities that drive foot traffic and enhance Whanganui's reputation as a vibrant destination.Build strong relationships with stakeholders to collectively support the commercial growth of the city.Collaborate effectively with the Operations Manager to maintain high standards of service delivery for the Whanganui District Council.All qualified candidates will be emailed the Candidate Job Brief and applications are reviewed as they land with round one of interviews likely to be scheduled before the closing date.
