Be part of the Farmlands Leadership Group in Aotearoa's largest farming co-operative Hands on, high energy, and results driven role Build on a legacy and take our 80+ retail network to another level Mo te whai waahi About the opportunity At Farmlands - Te Whenua Taroa - we're looking for a General Manager - Retail to build on a legacy and take our national retail network to another level. Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, you'll be part of the Farmlands Leadership Group and tasked with the delivery of Farmlands' financial and strategic goals in the Retail space. You'll lead our Regional Retail Managers and our Retail Operations Team to success and support a positive team culture across the country. This is your opportunity to play a key role in the NZ Primary Sector with Aotearoa's largest farming co-operative - an organisation incredibly passionate about its history, team and shareholders. This role requires superior credibility in retail leadership, and a high level of business acumen to enable breakthrough thinking to achieve our financial and strategic Retail goals. This is a hands-on role with regular national travel. Mohou ake About you With strong presence, energy and personal drive, you'll have significant retail leadership experience, and a track record of successfully building the capability of large, regionally dispersed retail teams. You'll also bring to the table : Proven experience providing financial leadership and oversight of multiple functions / teams and successfully leveraging resources to deliver on budget targets Superior stakeholder and relationship management skills Demonstrated strategic, commercial, and financial acumen, and experience using your strategic understanding of market / financials to make business decisions Mo nga painga About the benefits You'll get to work with an empowering Chief Sales Officer, lead a passionate team, and do meaningful innovative work in an inclusive culture.
