Job Description General Manager Gym, South East London £32, basic & £8, bonus structure An exciting opportunity to join a well-renowned and growing independent business within the health and fitness industry as General Manager at one of their 3 sites.
The gym is a state-of-the-art facility kitted out with top-of-the-range equipment and technology.
My client requires a dedicated and passionate General Manager who is focused on growing the membership base and delivering a superb member experience.
The main responsibilities of the General Manager are: Driving membership sales and creating awareness campaigns in the local community.
Focusing on member retention and high levels of customer service.
Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and operating the club within guidelines.
Managing, training and developing the in-club team.
Managing budgets, KPIs, P&L and driving club performance.
The candidate: Highly driven with a positive and proactive attitude is a must.
Ability to interact and be 'hands on'.
A background in fitness and membership sales management.
A strong knowledge of the sales process and generating leads from internal and external sources.
Previous experience in gym management preferred.
This is a fantastic job in fitness which requires the successful individual to take ownership of the club as if it was their own business.
You must be an outgoing character who thrives in and enjoys meeting the demands of a fast-paced environment head on!
