Christchurch Ready Mix Concrete have been providing ready-mix concrete, aggregates, and civil construction services in Canterbury for over 60 years.

It's time for a changing of the guard and we are excited to be on the hunt for an experienced General Manager to lead the charge.
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic plan, leading our team, driving business growth, managing resources and controlling operational costs.
We are looking for a highly personable, strong, confident, hands-on and strategic leader.
To be successful in the role you will be commercially astute, confident in maintaining and developing strong commercial relationships and be committed to leading from the front.
Key Attributes required include: At least 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role or have transferable skills that match the requirements of the role.
Industry experience with a hands-on and operational approach to management.
A proven track record of leading, motivating and managing staff; creating high-performing teams and more importantly a happy, healthy and safe workplace.
A high level of commercial acumen including competence in financial literacy.
Analytical in nature; ensuring systems and processes across the business are fit for purpose and job costing and forecasting are accurate.
A strategic thinker confident in your ability to develop and execute robust business plans to deliver on growth strategy.
The ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and turn these relationships into profitable business opportunities.
