Job Description: We are looking for a General Manager to oversee the daily operations of Property and Grounds. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff and contractors, ensuring the highest standards of property maintenance and preventive maintenance are met. You will be a key player in quoting and scheduling work, handling HR responsibilities, and contributing to the growth and success of our business through sales and business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate staff and contractors to ensure efficient and effective property maintenance services.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize property value.
Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for potential clients.
Schedule and oversee maintenance and landscaping projects to ensure timely completion.
Handle HR responsibilities, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Drive sales efforts by identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients.
Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring profitability and growth.
Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a management role within the maintenance or landscaping industry.
Strong understanding of maintenance and preventive maintenance practices.
Excellent quoting and scheduling skills.
HR skills, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Some sales experience with a focus on business development.
Ability to run and grow a successful business.
Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
