General Manager

Job Title: General Manager
Location: Geyser Community Foundation, Bay of Plenty
Our Executive Officer retires in March, so we are seeking an exceptional leader to provide overall management and deliver strategic objectives set by the Board. The position is based in Rotorua, with some travel required within the Central Plateau region. A full-time commitment is preferred. The position has the support of two part-time staff and a volunteer board.
Qualifications and Experience: 3 - 5 years' experience managing a team at both strategic and operational levels.
Demonstrable track record of developing and executing strategies and plans.
Experience in establishing, managing, and reporting budgets.
Managing personnel and volunteers with strong connections in the local community.
Successful fundraising, especially donor and bequest programmes and donor stewardship.
Effective marketing in the commercial, public, or charity sector, preferably with a tertiary qualification in marketing and/or management.
Supporting effective governance.
Experience in public speaking.
