That's why we are seeking a General Manager for our Bupa Erin Park Care Home & Village in Manurewa, South Auckland. With 40 care homes and 36 retirement villages across Bupa NZ, you can make a true impact.You will be leading the care home and village in a newly created single site structure while continuing to build upon Erin Park's strong community reputation. Erin Park is a modern facility set in beautifully landscaped gardens and an internal courtyard offering 115 beds including rest home and hospital-level care, and our retirement village consists of 32 apartments. Underway are an additional 49 villas and a community centre.Where You'll Make an Impact:Reporting to Regional Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:Single site management across both the care home and retirement village.Facilitate the additional 49 villas and the community centre in development.Achieve sales, occupancy, and financial targets while managing your budget.Recruit, retain, and lead your team, while facilitating the development of their careers.Support your team of around 100+ to provide exceptional, seamless person-centred care to the residents and their families.Demonstrate leadership in Quality & Risk Management and Health and Safety requirements.Be on a regional shared, on-call roster with other managers, being available by phone for 1 week out of 7 weeks.What about you?You have a passion for people, a collaborative, engaging, and empathetic communication style, and a strong understanding of commercial drivers.
