The Role: FMNZ is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic General Manager of Finance to lead our financial strategy and operations.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial functions, ensuring long-term financial sustainability, and providing timely reporting for strategic decision-making across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in financial forecasting, budgeting, and management, with the ability to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to support FMNZ's growth and operational efficiency.
This role can be based in either our Napier or Waverley office.
Oversee all financial functions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Lead long-term financial forecasting, strategic financial management, and reporting.
Prepare, set, monitor, and report on budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Maintain data accuracy and integrity across financial reporting systems.
Provide financial support and visibility to day-to-day operations, enabling informed decision-making.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, both internally and to external stakeholders.
Manage the accurate tracking and invoicing of all revenue-generating activities.
Develop financial forecasts and budgets for FMNZ and its clients as needed, supporting growth initiatives.
About You: A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
Excellent understanding of financial systems and data integrity.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
