About us: Presbyterian Support Otago - Family Works delivers social services for families, children and young people in need. Our services range from giving immediate assistance, such as food parcels, sourcing emergency housing or providing advocacy support, through to the more complex social work responses associated with family breakdown, violence and abuse. Family Works also provides social work therapeutic services and educational group programmes for children and parents, and works with vulnerable young people.
Presbyterian Support Otago is the largest provider of health & social services to the people of Otago.
About you We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to direct and lead the Family Works Division to continue to develop services to respond to the needs of people across Otago. The successful applicant will lead our large committed team of social service professionals.

Have at least three years experience in senior leadership in which you led cultural and performance improvementHave highly developed interpersonal / networking skills in which trusted relationships created meaningful value to your organisationHave enthusiasm, energy and commitment to keep going when things get toughAre able to work autonomously and enjoy variety in your workHave a tertiary qualification in Social services, education, health or disabilityHave a sense of humour - you take the work seriously, but not so much yourself…then you might fit right in and we'd love to hear from you.
About this role You will report to the Chief Executive and be a member of the Senior Leadership Team of Presbyterian Support Otago. This is a rewarding role with a high level of autonomy and support.
Hours: This is a permanent full time position based in our Dunedin office working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday.
