The Role
Forming a key part of the Network Leadership Team you will be responsible for leading the delivery of Network's OPEX and CAPEX programmes, asset maintenance practices, engineering design and network procurement functions.
Bringing a strategic approach and being solutions focussed, you'll drive Northpower's vision of delivering operational excellence. With a large increase in network investment and new connections (including renewable energy), you'll lead the evolution of systems and structure to support the effective and efficient delivery of a large and varied portfolio of work.
Utilising your industry knowledge and experience, you'll also contribute to the overall strategic direction and management of Northpower's Network, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer - Network and Network Leadership Team.
About You
A degree qualified Electrical Engineer or holding extensive experience, you will have a strong understanding of engineering design and project delivery practices in electricity distribution or similar. This will enable you to provide strategic vision, technical leadership, and manage network risk across a multilayered team.
Having built and led high performing teams, you will have a track record of driving a culture of continuous improvement, both within your team and across the organisation. This will see you having the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, leveraging your strong communication skills and commercial acumen.
