The Work We have an opportunity for General Labourers to work with 2 local Sawmills.
We have 6 x Day Shift and 5 x night shift roles on offer for candidates showing a passion for this industry and commitment to the job.
About the Roles: Assisting with production line work.Monitoring and checking the wood for defects.Manually moving lengths of timber products.Wrapping the wood products, labelling and strapping completed product.Medium/ Heavy manual handling involved, need to be able to follow written and verbal instructions.A person with current forklift tickets, with time spent in the hot seat is desirable, but not a deal breaker.About you: You are physically fit and injury free.Have a sound work ethic, enthusiastic approach and reliable.Can work well in a team environment.Your own transport, these roles do not suit public transport options.The ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time.Able to work 12 hour shifts.Enjoy working outdoors - no matter the weather.Must haves: An eligibility to work in New Zealand.
