General Labourer - Drainage Team

Our client is looking for a keen and motivated Labourer to join their Drainage team on a Drury based project.The work is physically demanding but highly rewarding working in a close-knit team that takes pride in their work and more importantly completion of tasks as a team.Your day could involve:Digging and shovel worksLaying PipesConcretingSetting up pumpsSet up / pack down & site clean upMoving and unloading materialsOther general labouring tasks as requiredKey information:Hours are 6.30am/7.00am starts 5pm finish, however as we head into the warmer weather there is an expectation of longer hours up to 6pm.Hourly rate $24-26phWork is Monday - Friday, there might be an odd Saturday which will be a half dayOn the job training provided and further opportunities to develop on offer.Our client thrives in team settings, you need to be a team player ready to put in a good days MAHI! But also, not afraid in between hours to pick up a broom and help during any downtime.Successful applicants will:Be physically fit and able to do heavy, hands-on workHave reliable transport to get to the work site each dayExperience in the civil/roading/construction labouring ideal but training can be providedMust have Constructsafe certification (or happy to sit this - we can assist)Class 1 full licence would be an advantagePass a pre-employment drug testSupply 2 contactable referencesComplete a Ministry of Justice checkAdditional Benefits:Paid weekly and paid on time.PPE provided at no cost to you.If you are interested and meet the above requirements please submit your CV online.
