General Hand/Maintenance Person/Backup Driver
We are looking for someone to carry out a variety of tasks at our Sockburn, Christchurch site. Duties include:
• Basic maintenance on our ewp/forklift fleet – physically checking on upcoming deliveries ensuring machines are in top working condition along with checking and washing all machines that are delivered back from customers.
• Maintaining the workshop and yard to ensure all is tidy and up to the standard of our health and safety policies
• Helping our Transport Driver to load and unload equipment
• Overflow delivery of machinery if necessary
Attributes:
• Physically fit
• Willing and able to work within a small team
• Class 2 – 4 drivers licence would be advantageous
• Good communication skills
• The ability to turn your hand to whatever task needs to be done
• A can-do attitude
