Job Description - Gastroenterology Clinical Nurse Specialist (WAI28644)Job NumberWAI28644Hours: 0.9 FTEEmployment Type: PermanentAbout the RoleThe Internal Medicine Department at Waikato Hospital is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Liver Cancer/Cirrhosis CNS.The successful candidate will join our existing experienced CNS to provide and co-ordinate care across Gastroenterology inpatient and outpatient services. You will facilitate individual case management, education, review of interventions and liaison with the multi-disciplinary team.This position has existed for over 15 years and has evolved over time to become critical for the management of liver cancer and cirrhosis.
