Demand for Gastroenterology outpatient and endoscopy services is consistently high, and therefore we are looking for enthusiastic dynamic Senior Medical Officers to fill our fixed term and permanent full-time vacancies.Flexibility of 0.8 FTE part-time is available. We are looking for a trained doctor with good general gastroenterology and endoscopy skills, and there are likely to be some ERCP sessions available. EUS experience is desirable.ResponsibilitiesGastroenterology at Te Toka Tumai Auckland provides secondary care for both inpatients and outpatients, including:Diagnosis of a variety of upper and lower gastrointestinal conditionsTherapeutic and advanced endoscopy proceduresManagement of IBD, ERCP, and SpyglassNga Pukenga Motuhake Important SkillsAs the ideal candidate, you will be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
