About the role Our dedicated team at Coastal Villas, based in Paraparaumu, is looking for a Gardener to join them in maintaining an attractive community environment for our residents.

This role requires a motivated and reliable person with a 'can-do, will-do' attitude, who can work well in a team as well as with minimal supervision.
This is a job that requires someone who is strong, fit, and who would enjoy doing a bit of everything, working predominantly in our beautiful established gardens.
You will assist the gardening team with the gardening and general upkeep of the grounds.
We would encourage a candidate who possesses knowledge or has experience of general gardening, spraying, weeding, and/or pruning, to apply.

This position is working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8 - 4:30 pm (great hours!!)
Skills and experience required: Previous experience working outdoors and any experience with gardening, school grounds caretaking, landscaping, or amenity gardening would be ideal.
A clean driver's license would be preferable.
You will appreciate how important this position is in delivering an outstanding service to our residents, so you will have empathy for the older person.
Excellent spoken English with the ability to communicate in a clear, considerate manner.
An industrious, diligent approach to ensuring that the job is done to the highest standards.
